The opening of the Hilbert Museum of California Art directly correlates with Chapman University's mission statement; To provide personalized education of distinction that leads to inquiring, ethical, and productive lives as global citizens.


About Hilbert Museum:
The Hilbert Museum of California Art is a temporary museum opening in the Fall of 2015 at Chapman University. It features 20th Century Art composed of mostly watercolor scene and landscape paintings. This museum features many artists such as Rex Brandt, Phil Dike, George James, Millard Sheets, and many more. The Hilbert Museum will feature some of California’s greatest scene paintings. 


 

The commemorative poster announcement is a two part poster. The first part is an announcement about the museum coming to Chapman University. After the top portion has been ripped off, the bottom is an interactive punch out . The user can punch out an illustrated Chapman University icon and use the colored tabs to fold it together. The punch out features an about paragraph to learn about Chapman University and the Hilbert Museum. The colored tabs are made for the viewer to easily assemble the building together with no tape or glue.
